🔍 Phase 2 of the Audit Quality Reviews (AQRs) is now underway.

As part of our mandate to promote audit quality, strengthen confidence in the profession and protect the public interest, the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB) has commenced Phase 2 of the Audit Quality Review programme.

Audit firms selected for review are encouraged to ensure that their quality management systems, audit documentation and compliance records are up to date and readily available for inspection.

The commencement of Phase 2 also provides an opportunity for the profession to reflect on the Audit Quality Reviews journey to date and revisit the Phase 1 Audit Quality Reviews Report.

The report remains an important resource for audit practitioners, firms, regulators, academics and other stakeholders seeking to understand the Audit Quality Review process and PAAB's ongoing efforts to promote high-quality audit services and continuous improvement within the profession.
